新华网报道:法国农业部长呼吁更多在华法企投身公益事业 Xinhua News Agency: French Minister for Food Calls for More Public Spirit from French Companies in China

新华网上海5月6日电(记者 李娜)6日,在上海访问的法国农业及食品监管部长纪尧姆·加洛参观海上青焙坊烘焙中心时表示,希望更多在华法国企业投身社会公益事业。

纪尧姆·加洛先生在与海上青焙坊相关负责人及学生座谈时得知,在家乐福等法资企业赞助下,三位中国学生曾亲赴法国学习法式烘焙技术。他对他们在法国的见闻及生活表示关切,对他们为学习烘焙技术所付出的努力表示赞赏,鼓励他们实现自己的烘焙梦想。

据了解,海上青焙坊成立于2008年,是为中国贫困青少年提供全额资助及烘培培训的公益机构。项目致力于为来自困难家庭17-23岁的青少年无偿提供一年的法式烘焙技术培训,以帮助他们在毕业后找到就业机会并自力更生。

海上青焙坊总负责人勒穆瓦纳介绍说,2009年第一期培训计划以来,已有近100名学员从该机构毕业。她表示,如今有越来越多的机构和企业加入到他们的公益行列之中。

出席参观活动的家乐福集团副总裁、家乐福中国区总裁唐嘉年表示,希望通过赞助海上青焙坊项目,帮助贫困青少年们自立健康成长,并学以致用,回馈社会,同时培养出更多优秀的中国烘焙师,为中国消费者带来更优质的食品和服务。

据了解,从2009年至今,家乐福基金会已赞助费用近270万人民币,成为海上青焙坊赞助金额最大和赞助时间最长的赞助伙伴。与此同时,海上青焙坊学生们还能在家乐福门店面包科获得实习机会。实习结束后,表现优秀的学生会获得家乐福提供的工作机会。

Xinhua Net, Shanghai, May 6th (reported by Li na) On May 6th, French Minister for Food Guillaume Garot visited the baking centre of Shanghai Young Bakers (SYB) during his stay in Shanghai and suggested more French enterprises in China take part in socially responsible activities.

Having talked to SYB staff and students, Mr Guillaume Garot learned that sponsored by Carrefour and other french companies, three Chinese students had already been to France for bakery training. Mr. Guillaume Garot asked about their life in France, praised their efforts and encouraged them to reach for their dreams.

Founded in 2008, SYB seeks to provide fully-sponsored French bakery training to disadvantaged Chinese youth (aged 17-23), enabling them to find qualified jobs and lead independent lives after graduation.

According to Floriane, program manager of SYB, since 2009 when they first started the training program, they have seen nearly 100 students graduate. She said these days more and more institutions and companies were joining them in social benefit activities.

Also present was Mr Thierry Garnier, vice president of Carrefour Group and CEO of Carrefour China. He hoped that by sponsoring the SYB program, Carrefour can help these young people become independent with their skills, and benefit society. He also hoped the program will develop more good bakers who can deliver better food and services to Chinese consumers.

Since 2009, Carrefour Foundation has donated nearly 2.7 million yuan to SYB, making its sponsorship the biggest and most long-lasting one. Besides, graduates from SYB may have the opportunities to intern in bake houses of Carrefour outlets.
