Caoyang Vocational School

The Caoyang Vocational School organises Chinese pastry classes and allows SYB to hold life skills and English classes in its classrooms, in addition to providing dormitories for the SYB students.

Ecole Christian Vabret

Ecole Christian Vabret is a French bakery institute supporting SYB in defining bakery class content and in training the SYB teachers.Ecole Christian Vabret has trained in total five outstanding SYB graduates (three in 2010-2011 and two in 2014-2015) at its facilities in Aurillac in order for them to return and teach the new batches of students.

Alliance Francaise

In 2010, Alliance Française provided free French language classes to our 3 teachers so that they could continue learning bakery at the EFBPA in France. Since then, AF has become the French Language Training Institution for SYB, and by 2019, a total of seven SYB graduates going to France have recieved French lessons free of charge. Currently, AF is providing free French language classes to two SYB graduates, who will be furthering their training in France.

Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones is a not-for-profit charitable organization registered in Hong Kong and in Shanghai with a mission to improve the education and general welfare of disadvantaged children in China. Stepping Stones works with expatriate and local Chinese volunteers to teach English in Shanghai’s migrant schools and community centres. Stepping Stones volunteers teach SYB students oral English, with a focus on kitchen and baking vocabulary so that they can interact with foreign chefs and customers during their internships.

Aboro Academy

Michele and Masca believe that sports is about giving back to the community. In this spirit they co-founded the Aboro Foundation. Its mission is to inspire better physical and mental well-being in everyone. Working in partnerships with non-profit organisations, schools and sponsors the Aboro Foundation offers essential education in sports. The Foundation supports SYB through provision of wellness training for our students.
