Shanghai Young Bakers officially wishes the best to all of you! May this new year be better than the last one, and 2020 even better!
Because they’ve understood the value that a united team can have in 2019, Fiducia, Asia Global Consulting and Credit Suisse contacted SYB for a teambuilding activity.
Few days before the actual New Year, whether it was for a Yule Log Cake, Pretzels, Gingerbread or mini Cupcakes, several groups of employees came to SYB’s Baking Centre, all eager to learn!
Dear readers, when you place some fresh paste in an oven and cook it for a while, what you get back is a delicious bread. Isn’t it magical?
Well, with the same magic, the people from these companies entered our Baking Centre as a simple group of employees, but when they came out of it a few hours later, I can assure you they were nothing but a smiling team, ready to brave together every challenge of 2019!

What makes a team great is the diversity of the talents working together. It is also true for SYB!
This teambuilding would have been impossible without the technical and pedagogical skills of our Bakery teacher Liu Dong, our Pastry teacher Wang Jingyi, our graduate students Zhang Yikai and Fu Shuangxing, and the organization skills of our Client Coordinator Eve Wu.
But above all, we wish to say a big thank you to the actual teams of Fiducia, Asia Global Consulting and Credit Suisse for their dedication: SYB has rarely seen such conscientious students!
2019 has just began, so it is time for you to start this new year on the right foot! How could it start better than with a teambuilding activity?
