The Young Bakers discover the Bund for the first time
青年烘焙师们在外滩的第一次探索
The visit of the Bund is a must-see for anyone coming to Shanghai for the first time and has become a tradition at SYB. For a lot of people, the Bund, with its view of the Huangpu River and the high-rise building in Pudong are the symbol of the modern city, to the Young Bakers it is the symbol of a new life and a brighter future ahead!
如果你是第一次来上海，那么参观外滩可谓是你的“必修课”，因此这一游览项目也成为海上青焙坊的传统。对许多人而言，外滩凭借着黄浦江的美丽风景及耸立着的高楼大厦，成为了这座现代化城市的标志；而在青焙师们眼里，外滩更是一个新生活的起点和前途光明的象征！
On Sunday, September 6th, only a week after they arrived to Shanghai, the Young Bakers gathered at the subway and used their transportation card for the first time, direction: the famous East Nanjing Rd! Coming out of the station, the students quickly headed towards the Pearl Tower and finally discovered the Huangpu River and its beautiful scenery.
9月6日，周日，在来到上海仅仅一周之时，青年烘焙师们在地铁站集合，第一次使用他们的交通卡前往上海最有名的南京西路！走出地铁站，学员们很快把目标锁定在东方明珠电视塔，并领略了黄浦江的美好风光。
After a break to admire the view while taking some pictures, the group slowly walked to the Bund History Museum, located at the North near the Bridge. It was a great opportunity for them to see old pictures of the Bund and its evolution during the last century.
学员们边欣赏风景边拍照留念，稍作停留后开始缓缓走向北边靠近外白渡桥的外滩历史纪念馆。青焙师们得以在这里一睹外滩的老照片，以及它在上个世纪所经历的种种演变。
Finally came lunch time and the students headed to one of the small food streets crossing East Nanjing Rd, on their way, they could discover some of the SYB partner hotels where they will be doing their internship at, starting from mid-October, including the Sofitel Hyland!
午餐时间终于到了，学员们向穿插在南京西路中的一条小吃街走去，沿途发现了好几家和海上青焙坊合作的酒店，如索菲特海伦宾馆，十月之后他们将在这些酒店实习！
The outing finished by a walk around People’s Park, a great way to enjoy the fresh and sunny day!
学员们在人民公园旁边散步边享受着阳光灿烂的一天，为这一次的外出画上了圆满的句号！
