Bring Not Only Bread but Also Skills Home

Bring Not Only Bread but Also Skills Home: Cereal Baguette & Pains au Lait Public Class

I know, I know. You have all waited very long, and now I will announce the good news. Our bakery class is back! Mark your calendar, roll up your sleeves, and get ready to bake your very own cereal baguette and pains au lait (milk bread). On September 20th (Sunday), we are offering a 5-hour public class, teaching you TWO recipes from scratch: traditional French baguette and milk bread. You will not only have your Monday breakfast ready (you’re welcome), but you will also carry that skill back home to bake for your family and friends (and get showered in compliments of course).
Instead of the plain baguette, we offer a little twist for you to make cereal baguette. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, along with that irresistible wheat aroma. You might not want to buy a baguette anymore but make your own!

Want something to boost your energy to start the week? The fluffy, buttery milk bread would be a great company for your breakfast! Pair it with an egg and a cup of coffee/tea to start your Monday morning strong.

The class will be taught by our professional French bakery trainer, Liu Dong, who was trained and graduated from the famous Ecole Française de Boulangerie et Pâtisserie d’Aurillac (EFBPA), one of the best French bakery schools in France.

Joining our public class is also a great opportunity to meet new friends in the SYB community and to exchange your passion in baking! Moreover, you would be directly supporting our chairy program, in which SYB provides disadvantaged younth (aged 17-23) from different parts of China one-year free training in French bakery and pastry, enabling them to find qualified jobs and lead independent lives.
