The Young Bakers received high quality training from Sinodis Chefs

Every year Sinodis organize specific training for the Young Bakers at the end of their one-year training program. High-quality ingredients are essential to bake high-quality breads and pastries. Whether during their internship or in professional environments, students use Sinodis ingredients in the workplace. Split into two groups, each group received two training: Dairy products and Chocolate. Therefore, it is really valuable for them to get specific training on how to apply different techniques.

From mid-June to mid-July, Sinodis welcomed the Young Bakers 4 times, two were on dairy products such as Elle & Vire and Corman. The two other trainings were on chocolate Valrhona. Students were eager to learn more on ingredients specificities and to receive advices and working techniques from Sinodis and brands Chefs. Each training started with a one hour theory presentation on brands, ingredients and their specificities conducted by Elle & Vire and Corman team and Valrhona team. Then students followed a practical training for 3 hours, realizing different recipes in line with actual market trends.

Chef King conducted dairy’s two trainings.  Chef Nicolas Serrano conducted chocolate first training and Chef Andrew Ma the second. Chefs presented recipes to the students, as well as the ingredients they would use. Students were split into small groups to realize different part of various recipes. For each step, Sinodis Chefs were asking everyone to pay attention to demo and explanation before asking them to realize products individually.

The three Chefs gave the students lots of helpful advice and tricks on how to reach perfect results when using these products. The Young Bakers understood how each ingredient holds various characteristics, which must be considered. They also recognized the extent to which they must pay close attention to practice in order to better perform.

On behalf of the Young Bakers, I would like to thank Sinodis and their Chefs for offering their time and sharing their professional knowledge with the students!
