海上青焙坊学生参加巧思磨咖啡工作坊

1月19日,海上青焙坊的学生们非常开心地迎来了期待已久的、由巧思磨组织的咖啡工作坊。学员们充满了期待和好奇,因为很多学员会在今天体验和完成自己的第一次。

第一次学习认识咖啡豆,第一次参与制作咖啡,第一次了解咖啡烘焙和咖啡生长种植的过程;第一次学习专业的现场咖啡测杯,还有,最值得一提的是:第一次在现场喝到,五六种来自不同国家和产地的纯正咖啡。

当然提到这么多第一次,我们要感谢巧思咖啡创始人戴维德先生,于振海先生和他们的同事周萍小姐,是他们带给学员们这么多的第一次感受和知识。大家一起在三位特邀老师的带领下,学员们从咖啡的发源地,生长,种植一直学习到不同的咖啡制作工艺,很多的陌生名字又第一次被提起:危地马拉,埃塞尔比亚,印度尼西亚,牙买加等,来自这些国家的咖啡豆,都带着不同的味道。

三位老师带领着大家第一次品尝了不同咖啡在它每一阶段特有的味道,学员们从闻咖啡的干香气、湿香气到喝每种咖啡时的味道,再到后味到酸味,仿佛是在品尝一次咖啡盛宴!

The Young Bakers attend Jonas Emil coffee seminar

On January 19th, Shanghai Young Bakers was very happy to welcome the long-awaited coffee training by Jonas Emil Coffee Roasters. The young bakers were full of expectation because they knew that they would be able experience many“first times”.

They would recognize and study coffee beans for the first time, make coffee by themselves for the first time, learnthe process of coffee roasting and coffee’s growth for the first time, test coffee for the first time, and more importantly, they would be able to taste pure coffee from 5 to 6 countries for the first time.

Thanks to David, the founder ofJonas Emil Coffee Roasters, Mr. Yu Zhenhai and their colleague Miss Zhou Pin, who brought so many first-time experiences and knowledge to our young bakers. Guided by the three teachers, the students studied from the coffee’s origin, growing process and planting process to the different brewing techniques. A lot of unfamiliar names were mentioned, such as Guatemala, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Jamaica, that all give adifferent flavor to coffee beans.

The three teachers guided the students to taste different flavors of different coffees at different stages. The students smelt the fragrance of grinded coffee, smelt the difference once you added water and then tasted its sour flavor, just like attending a coffee feast!
