Included presented diploma to SYB students Dinner with Included 活力社区与海上青焙坊共庆学生毕业 INCLUDED为SYB学生安排的为期近一年的生活与社会技能项目成功完成了! 7月6日晚上,INCLUDED为学生组织了一场热闹非凡的生活与社会技能项目毕业礼,邀请了生活课老师和SYB的老师们出席。 7点不到,学生们都已纷纷入座,不过有几个学生因工作原因不能到场。又记得去年一张张稚嫩青涩的脸蛋,现在都绽放出一个个开朗自信的笑容。因为场地嘈杂,毕业仪式在外举行,先是由INCLUDED管理LVS的项目负责人Nicki用英语为学生和老师发言并为学生送上最真挚的祝福,由项目助理Jill为其进行中文翻译。然后为学生颁发毕业证书与最佳学生奖和优秀进步奖,并合影留念。接下去,为每位学生分发INCLUDED精心加工过的留言海报,并在生活老师权老师的帮助下,由学生挑选想要的面包或西点书籍,这些书籍是INCLUDED赠送给学生的礼物,希望学生做一行爱一行,不要轻言放弃。最后,INCLUDED员工和学生举着各自心爱的留言海报合影留念。 朱丽君,活力社区 Included celebrates the end of the year with SYB students The one-year Life Skills courses organized by Included have successfully come to an end! 学生们抵达穀屋 Students arrive at HoF 学生们聆听Brian Tan讲解 Students listene to Brian Tan’s Explanations Brian Tan示范布朗尼做法 Brian Tan shows the students how to make a Brownie Brian Tan询问学生情况 Biran Tan asks about the students’ background 新鲜出炉的布朗尼 The The freshly baked brownie 大家品尝布朗尼 Students taste the Brownie 一年的课程接近尾声,海上青焙坊的学员们需要慎重考虑之后的职业生涯了。6月10日,青焙坊贴心地组织第五届学员探访咖啡馆,了解将来的工作环境。 正午时分,学员们顺利抵达目的地——位于浦东陆家嘴的穀屋。穀屋是上海颇为知名的咖啡厅,以创意甜点与巧克力闻名。店主Brian已有二十余年的烘焙从业经验,并热心于公益事业。他十分愿意与年青人分享他的创业经验,已连续多年邀请青焙坊学员到穀屋参观。 Brian亲自迎接学员的到来,慷慨分享穀屋度假布朗尼配方,并亲自下厨演示做法。最让学员们受益匪浅的是,Brian谈到了身为厨师应做好的细节,如不浪费一点原料,完成操作后及时清理案板等。Brian生动有趣的描述与讲解深深地吸引了学员们,大家纷纷感叹学到了不少知识。 等待布朗尼出炉的时间里,Brian询问学员们最爱的烘焙方向,又讲述了他从普通人家的孩子成长为烘焙及糕点大师的故事。Brian谈到,他在第一个酒店实习时,不厌其烦地把每个任务做到最好,毕业后成为唯一被酒店录用的实习生。之后他在一个小岛上的豪华酒店工作时,常因交通原因没有充足原料,他不得不绞尽脑汁寻找其他材料替代。 Brian鼓励学员们更加投入地练习,直到真正掌握这种技巧。“只有通过不断的联系,方能做到完美。不论遭遇什么,一定要心怀梦想,大胆追求”,他最后说道。学员们深受鼓舞,纷纷表示愿意尽一切努力,追逐自己的人生梦想!
