SYB holds a public class for Brits Abroad

On Nov. 22th, 2012, SYB organized a public class for Brits Abroad in our baking center. During the class, 9 people from Brits Abroad learned how to bake traditional French bread and Viennese such as Brioche and country bread.

Before the start, Floriane, SYB’s program manager, presented SYB and helped people to get a deeper understanding of the spirit of SYB. Then our two experienced teachers demonstrated how to bake Brioche and country bread step by step and people learned it with laugh and heart. At noon, we ate the delicious bread and quiche made by our teachers. Besides, a chocolate mousse cake was presented as a surprise!

When finishing lunch, people started to bake their own bread. After waiting for 20 minutes, the fresh, home-made bread was ready. Everyone was so happy to eat their own bread! One of the participants said: “It’s a wonderful experience! The class is beyond what I expected! I will definitely attend the public class again!”

海上青焙坊为Brits Abroad组织公开课程

在11月22日,在烘焙中心,海上青焙坊为Brits Abroad组织了一次公开课程。在这次课程中,9为来自Brits Abroad的女士学习了如何制作传统法式面包,比如布里奥和乡村面包。

在课程开始之前,SYB的项目主管林兰为大家介绍了SYB项目,让大家对SYB精神有更深入的了解。之后两位经验丰富的老师向大家一步一步展示了如何烘焙布里奥和乡村面包,大家也都在快乐的笑声中学习。 中午,我们品尝了由老师制作的美味的法式风味馅饼和面包。另外,还有一个巧克力慕斯蛋糕作为饭后的惊喜!

吃完了午饭,大家就开始烘焙自己的面包啦。在等待了20分钟之后,新鲜的自制面包就烤好了。大家对能品尝到自己亲手做的面包都感到十分高兴! 其中一名参与者说:“这是一次非常棒的体验!这个课程已经超出了我的期待!我下次还会来!”
