Shanghai Young Bakers Annual Career Fair

Two major events took place in SYB students’ life on July the 21st at the vintage Pearl Theatre of Shanghai. When they woke up on that morning, all students had in mind the Graduation Ceremony that was awaiting them at night. If all of them truly felt excited about it, for them graduating also meant the start of a new life as an independent, skilled adult. In order to fully accompany them on that path, SYB organised a Career Fair where partners and companies interested in hiring Bakers got the opportunity to introduce potential job opportunities to each one of these motivated students.

During the fair, all companies took a moment to properly introduce themselves in front of all students and made them realize that being a Baker means having the opportunity to work in all kinds of structures : from bakeries to restaurants, hotels, companies’ baking centers or food supply retails.

SYB partners Carrefour and Lesaffre both took part in the event and students were pleased to recognize the bakers Pierre Canivet and master Ouyang among the participants.

Others even took the time to come from further away places such as Ningbo, Nanjing or Hangzhou. Mon époque, a newly opened bakery in Ningbo, introduced unique job opportunities for bakers who wish to specialize in traditional French Bakery and Pastry.

Each company comes with its own values and for the German Bakery Bakerhaus, nothing is more important than the choices a Baker makes to become a better Baker.

For the recently opened French Restaurant L’arôme, coming from Nanjing, what matters most is the desire to achieve better standard of food.

All students were also surprised and curious to hear more about job opportunities offered by Newland Foods, a food wholesale and supply company based in Zhejiang.

After their speeches, all companies representatives sat down with the students to further discuss possible job opportunities and get to better know each other. A very special moment that surely strenghtened all students’ faith in their future and passion for the limitless world of Bakery and Pastry !

海上青焙坊年度现场招聘会

7月21日对于海上青焙坊的学员们而言是人生中重要的日子,两个对他们意义非凡的事件都将于当天晚上在上海The Pearl Theatre 举行。当他们清晨从睡梦中醒来,所有人记得当天晚上即将是属于他们的毕业典礼。所有人都对晚宴非常兴奋,因为这也意味着他们,作为有资质、能独立的烘焙师,即将翻开人生新的篇章。为了让他们顺利抵踏上职业旅途,SYB为所有学员都准备了现场招聘会,在招聘会上,对雇佣SYB学员感兴趣的个人和公司都可以有机会向这些有志向的学员们介绍他们的就业机会。

在招聘会期间,所有的公司都想海上青焙坊的学员介绍了各自的优势,也让他们明白了烘焙师在就业方面有着广大的选择面:从面包店、餐厅、酒店、各类公司的烘焙中心到食品零售商等等。

SYB的合作伙伴家乐福乐斯福都参加了此次活动,学员们都兴奋地在参与者中认出了知名烘焙师Pierre Canivet和欧阳老师。

也有一些雇主甚至从宁波、南京、杭州等地赶来。宁波新开的面包房Mon époque就向那些希望在专业法式烘焙和西点领域发展的烘焙师们介绍了他们独特的法式烘焙就业机会。

每个公司都有不同的核心价值观,对于德国面包房Bakerhaus,没有什么比烘焙师的上进心更为重要。

新开张的法式餐厅L’arôme来自南京,对于他们而言最重要的是对高水准美食的不懈追求。

Newland Foods,是一个位于浙江的食品批发供应公司,它也为同学们提供了许多意想不到的就业机会。

在他们的演讲之后,所有公司的代表都入座并和同学们一对一讨论了以后的职业机会,同时也相互了解了更多。这一过程也让同学们对之后的职业发展有了更多的信心,对发展潜力巨大的烘焙甜点行业充满了热情!
