Embrace a Green World, Run for Your Dream

Looking back at thesports games organized by Fudan Jiayuan for SYB

SYB students went to Fudan University in the afternoon of Nov. 3rd, 2013 and joined students from Fudan Jiayuan to enjoy funny sports games organized by students of Fudan University.

As a star event of Fudan Jiayuan, the sports game aims to provide a communication channel for students in Fudan and SYB to form deeper understanding, establish closer relations through exercising and team work in spare time. This time, environmental protection was the theme of the event so students would not only build up their body but also learn why and how to protect the environment.

The students is playing “basketball of recycling” game

The first challenge they encountered was a “basketball of recycling” game with unusual basketballs. They were asked to shoot garbage to hoops made of abandoned cartons, a way to present the theme of environment protection. Participants were to shoot garbage to different hoops based on its recyclability, indeed a competition of common knowledge and sports skills. They were in six groups and elected some competitive representatives to play the game under the guidance of event organizers. Encouraged by their teammates, all representatives did a very good job in the first round.

The students is playing the “three feet” game

The game had two rounds and was followed by a Q&A session about environmental protection. Students learnt new things while leisurely competing with each other. Then students played the “three feet” game, which required a very good coordination among teammates.

Last but not least there was a lucky draw based on their ranking. There were leaps of joy when the students gave their small gifts to the team. Finally everyone took a group picture and the curtain dropped on smiley faces in front of the Guanghua Building.
