The Young Bakers give of their free time to A Pleines Mains
海上青焙坊青年烘焙师空闲时间志愿服务公益组织 A Pleines Mains
On both Saturday, May 28th and June 11th, the Young Bakers gave of their free time to help a charity as volunteers: A Pleines Mains (With Full Hands) has been really supportive of Shanghai Young Bakers’ program for years through both financial and in-kind donations.
Since 1999, A Pleines Mains (APM) aims at improving living conditions of the underprivileged, by giving medical aid to the disabled and by helping children’s welfare. Only supported by a team of volunteers, the organization receives financial donations as well as donations of new and second hand goods such as clothes, furniture, books, and sort them into the one that can be sold for charities they support and the one that will go directly to this charities.
5月28日和6月11日海上青焙坊的青年烘培师们利用周六空余时间参与志愿者服务，为A Pleines Mains (APM) 献上一份爱心。APM是一家公益组织，几年以来一直对海上青培坊的项目非常支持，为我们提供资金和物资援助。
自1999年，APM就致力于改善贫困人群的生活状况，无偿为残疾人提供医疗救助并关爱儿童。作为一家完全靠志愿者支撑的慈善组织，APM将收到的捐款和物资，比如衣物，家具，和书本整理或者变卖后，用来支持更多有需要的公益项目。
The whole morning, Young Bakers helped to sort freshly received new clothes by size, season and utility, a great way for them to give back to the community and to strengthen ties between NGOs. Their help was really welcome, as APM is always in need of volunteers!
In addition, as it was a sales’ day, customers and volunteers could buy freshly baked breads from the students’ classes, a great way for the Young Bakers to practice their English and interaction skills!
白天，学生们帮着APM整理了新到的捐赠物资，将衣物根据大小，季节，和功能分类。他们的付出受到了APM的极大欢迎。同时，这也是他们回馈社会，增进我们与其他公益组织感情的大好方式。学生们的帮助也受到了APM 的欢迎，因为他们始终需要大量志愿者的帮助与支持！
同时正逢APM的销售日，海上青焙坊的青年烘焙师们借此良机向帮助APM的志愿者和顾客们售卖面包并进行面对面交流，锻炼了他们的英文和沟通能力。
