甜点师金会子采访 | “最喜欢黑巧克力覆盆子慕斯”(含课程回顾)

Last weekend, SYB conducted its last Level 2 pastry class before the summer break in July. Pastry teacher Ines or Jin Huizi, together with 7 lovely participants baked 3 delicious desserts (Rose Raspberry Mousse Cake, Almond Pear Pie and Chocolate Tart)! Let’s first have a look at some of the pictures taken during this eventful class!

上周末,海上青焙坊刚刚结束了中级甜点课程,这也是7月前的最后一节中级甜品课。甜点师金会子和7位可爱的伙伴一起制作了玫瑰覆盆子慕斯、杏仁香梨派和巧克力塔这三款形美味佳的甜品!让我们先来回顾下上周烘焙课程的精彩瞬间吧~

There was an upgrade of the lunch menu for our Level 2 class! This sumptuous French styled buffet also includes a few new creations from our teachers! Chatting leisurely with like-minded participants who have the same hobbies and enjoying SYB’s exquisite lunch was truly enjoyable for everyone!

同时,我们的午餐也提升啦!加入了老师自主研发的一些新产品,会极大丰富法式自助餐的种类,夏天也不用担心没食欲啦。能和一群兴趣相投的人坐在一起聊聊天,品尝海上青焙坊老师和学生的手艺,悠哉!

X: Hello Teacher Jin!

J: Hello~

J:你好~

X:Many people said that they really like your class and I have seen many past participants coming for this class as well! Do you feel tired teaching classes in Shanghai Young Bakers?

X:很多人说特别喜欢你的课,我有看到几个之前上过你课的这次也来啦。你在海上青焙坊上课会感觉累吗?

J: I really need to thank everyone for their support. There will always be tiredness, but as long as I feel that it is worth it, I will no longer feel tired. Furthermore, as compared to working in electronics factory, this teaching career has given me a lot of joy!

J:还是要谢谢大家的支持。累总会有的,但只要让我觉得有价值,就不感觉累了,而且比起从前在电子工厂工作这并不辛苦,现在这份工作带给我太多快乐!

X: Yes, it is very important to be happy! Since you used to be a student at SYB, how do you feel about being an SYB teacher now?

X:是的,快乐感很重要!之前你也是海上青焙坊的学生,现在是老师,你觉得最大的感受是什么?

J: When I was a student, the classes were for my future and I would like to thank SYB’s teachers and my classmates. Now that I am a teacher in SYB, my happiness index is very high because I can help others while helping myself. A big thank you to all my students now!

J:学生时期在上课的我是为了未来,需要感谢SYB的老师们和我的同学们。现在作为甜品老师在上课的我,幸福指数很高,因为能帮到别人也帮助自己,感谢我现在的学生们!

X: Thank you for your wonderful teaching as well~ Let’s talk about pastries now! What attracts you most about pastries? What do you think is the most crucial thing when it comes to baking pastries?

X:也谢谢金老师的精彩讲课~ 我们来聊聊甜品本身吧。甜点最吸引你的地方是什么? 你认为制作甜点最重要的又是什么呢?

J: I really enjoy the process of baking pastries, as well as the satisfaction and happiness these pastries can bring to others. This is the most attractive thing about pastries. (Here you can image a smile that forms when someone talks about their favorite things!) With regards to baking pastries, enthusiasm and patience is the most important in my perspective. I dislike it if you only bake to make products, and the passion behind it is lacking.

J:我非常享受制作甜品的过程,也很喜欢产品带给别人的满足和幸福感,这是最吸引我的地方。(说到喜欢的事物时的笑容大家自行想象哦!)制作甜品呀,我认为最重要的是热情和耐心,如果只为完成产品而做甜品,缺乏太多感情因素,我不喜欢。

X: I understand, because I am a fan of pastries myself! So which is your favorite dessert?

X:了解,我也是一众甜品爱好者哈哈。那老师你最喜爱的甜点是哪个呢?

J: I like Dark Chocolate Raspberry Mousse best. I used to make this pastry in a dessert shop in Paris. Amidst its bitter taste, you can find a sour sweetness. Its texture is silky and smooth yet rough. However, its appearance presents ‘unlimited dreams and beauty’. To me, it embodies the many faces of life, with its many twists and turns. I like it very much!

J:最喜欢黑巧克力覆盆子慕斯。这款甜品,最初是我在巴黎的甜品店里制作,它味道苦中带酸酸中透甜,口感丝滑细腻又粗糙,但外形又给人无限梦幻和美好,对我而言,它体现了人生百态,展现了人生的苦乐曲折,非常喜欢。

X: Oh this is like pastry philosophy! May I ask what your dream is?

X:唔~像是甜品的哲学!那可以问下老师你的梦想吗?

J: Dreams are important and I once used to shelve my dreams because of a lack of support and encouragement. Now, I would like to have a pastry shop.

J:梦想是要有的,曾经的一些梦想因为得不到支持和鼓励吧被搁置,现在我只执着一个甜品店。

X: Great! There will be a day where you dream comes true! Do you have anything to say to baking enthusiasts?

X:好棒,一定有梦想成真的那天的!老师想对烘焙爱好者再说些什么吗?

J: Fellow baking lovers, baking is a bottomless pit where you can’t get to the top. If you love to explore and study a topic, then baking is for you!

J:亲爱的焙友们,烘焙是个无底洞,走不到顶端。如果你极爱探索和钻研,那就做烘焙吧!
