联手烘焙一个有爱的圣诞节


On December 18th, 2016, Shanghai Young Bakers joined hands with Croissants de France to offer a bakery class to members of the Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association (SORSA). As it was only a week before the Christmas, biscuit decorations with the Christmas theme were naturally the highlight. Look at these beautifully adorned biscuits. They were not made by molds but skillfully cut with a knife. 

2016年的12月18日,海上青焙坊联手可颂坊,为上海市欧美同学会的部分会员举办了一场烘焙公益课。时值圣诞前夕,圣诞主题的饼干装饰自然吸引了大家的注意。瞧,这位会员没有采用现成的模具,而是自己用刀刻出了这么漂亮的字母饼干,装饰得也很有创意!

Before Julien Zhang, a full-time bakery teacher of SYB, taught the participants how to bake biscuits, he also did an interesting presentation on the French bread. Every region of France has its own unique bread recipes and culture. Aren’t you now feeling hungry looking at all these different kinds of bread?

当天授课的是海上青焙坊的张帅老师,在教会员朋友做饼干之前,张老师还作了一番法国面包文化的有趣介绍。瞧,法国的各个地区都有自己独特的面包配方和文化,这满满一篇的各式面包,是不是也让你垂涎欲滴了呢?

Two graduates from SYB not only assisted Julien with the bakery activity, but also shared a bit of their experience when they were students here.  Interestingly, Miss Wang from Shaanxi Province said she almost fell in love with the baguette when she took a first bite as the taste was quite similar to the food of her hometown. 

海上青焙坊的两位毕业生不仅是张老师当天的助教,还向来宾介绍了他们当年参加公益培训的情况。有趣的是,来自陕西省的王同学说,她第一次吃法棍面包,就不禁爱上了这种味道,因为它真的和陕西的面食口味有些相似呢!

Enthusiastic and eager to try, all participants, both adults and children, did an excellent job in baking the biscuits, madeleines, and croissants at this fun and delicious gathering. We certainly look forward to welcoming you again at our baking center!

活动上,各位大朋友、小朋友都是兴致勃勃,做出来的圣诞饼干、玛德琳、可颂牛角包也是香味扑鼻,大家都说,这是一个有意义的圣诞聚会!我们也期待你们下次再来我们的烘焙中心!
