Warm Gifts For Disadvantaged Children In China

Warm Gifts For Disadvantaged Children In China

At the end of 2019, French child skincare brand Doucéa with Shanghai Young Bakers sent heartwarming gifts to disadvantaged children in China – hygiene kits (including toothbrushes, toothpastes, face creams, toys, toys instructions and health education manuals). As the Chinese Lunar New Year approached, SYB students returned to their hometowns with these gifts and gave them to their younger sisters and brothers, or children in their hometowns.

Pharmacist Natacha Tarascon founded the French child skincare brand Doucéa. Holding a principle of environmental protection and an idea of meeting the needs of children with tailor-made products, Natacha added a social value to Doucéa: providing skincare and cleaning products for children and adolescents in poverty. This vision received support from many female entrepreneurs and companies such as Centdegrés, a brand intelligence firm, which co-creates the products and ASI-GROUP which provides the support for logistic across Asia. Doucéa’s range of skincare products will launch in June 2020, and they will maintain their social philosophy: Create with kids, for kids and donate for kids in need.
During the 2019 Christmas season, Doucéa released its children’s Eau de Toilette, “Un Hiver A Shanghai” (A Winter in Shanghai). For each bottle sold, Doucéa would donate a skincare and cleansing kit to a disadvantaged child in China. It would effectively raise children’s awareness of developing their personal hygiene. At the beginning of the campaign, Doucéa promised to take concrete action and directly benefit children in need, which marked the origin of these hygiene kits.
Before the Chinese Lunar New Year, Doucéa, in cooperation with Shanghai Young Bakers, delivered these gifts to disadvantaged children in China, hoping to remind young children of the importance of maintaining personal hygiene.

In this charity event, Doucéa donated 150 kits to Shanghai Young Bakers. These 150 kits would benefit 150 youth and children in poverty around China, and witness them growing up healthy.
On behalf of SYB and recipients, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Natacha and the children skincare brand Doucéa, for Doucéa’s heartwarming gifts and love to help the future of China!
