Bakeries “discovery tour” for the Young Bakers

Last Saturday, September 20th, on a beautiful sunny morning, the Young Bakers gathered in the old French concession for a tour of some of the most popular bakeries in Shanghai.

Led by our two bakery teachers, Wang Li and Zhang Zheng Hai, the students visited more than 10 bakeries, selling from traditional French to Asian-style, where they could recognize some of the products they had baked during class. During the tour, the students where very impressed by the beauty of some of the traditional French bakeries, they were also very lucky to be warmly welcomed by the bakery chef of Sunflour, who hired some of SYB graduates in the past.

Overall a great way for them to see the popularity of French breads and pastries and the employment opportunities the industry can offer!

年轻烘焙师们的探索之旅

9月20日是一个风和日丽的周六上午。这一天,海上青焙坊的学员们聚集在一起,一同探访了在旧上海法租借中最受欢迎的面包房。

在王莉和张政海两位老师的带领下,学生们走访了十余家面包房,并且在店内看到了自己在烘焙课程上学习过的面包。在这段旅程中,学生们对于传统法式烘焙的精致留下了深刻的印象,他们受到了阳光粮品主厨的热烈欢迎,这里曾雇佣了一部分海上烘焙坊的毕业生。

总体而言,这是一段非常有意义的旅程,让学生们见识到了法式面包西点在上海受到热烈欢迎,也让他们对自己未来的就业前景充满了希望。
