Aboro trained the Young Bakers on fitness and wellness good practices

On March 18th and May 27th, the Young Bakers gathered at the Anken Life complex for a new comprehensive training developed by Aboro Academy and SYB.
Aboro Academy was founded by Yilan Yuen and World Champion Michele Aboro. It is the first Boxing Academy with a World Champion coach and a team of professional coaches in Shanghai. The Aboro Foundation has been supporting underprivileged youth in China by providing career-oriented fitness and wellness training. The Foundation provides a better and healthier future by equipping students with marketable skills and capabilities to enter into the fitness industry, in some cases with job placement, thus creating a virtuous cycle of healthy renewal in the local communities in and around Shanghai.

Aboro developed a specific training for the Young Bakers organized in two sessions this semester.
During the first session, conducted by Adrianna and assisted by other trainers, students received some important fitness and wellness advices that they will be able to apply in their daily lives as bakers.

Trainers were really dedicated and patient! After some warm-up and stretching then came to time to pair up by two and start learning the basics moves of boxing!

This training gave them some tips to carry heavy bags of flour for example or to do some exercises at home that do not require any specific equipment.
The second session, organized on purpose before exams start, focused on relaxation, breathing and nutrition. Elisabeth assisted by other Aboro trainers started to teach the students some stretching exercises, exercises that they will be able to reproduce later by their own. She then gave them usefull techniques on how to breath and relax. A good way to learn on how to manage their stress.
The session ended with some healthy tips to eat all nutriment body needs. Based on the rainbow colors, she explained to them the importance to get a good diet for a good health.

On behalf of the Young Bakers, we would like to warmly thank the Aboro Foundation for its support and wish them great success in their mission of supporting more disadvantaged Chinese youth! Let’s meet next year with the next batch of students!
