Sponsorship consultant

Proofread Sponsorship documents and make suggestions to improve content and presentation

2 weeks commitment, hours flexible. Native level in English. Written understanding of French appreciated.

Flickr account manager

Create & manage Flickr account for SYB photos, coordinate uploads by volunteers, control size & access, write processes for responsible use (photos format and size, folder management, rules for uploading, ethics/privacy issues…)

Min 2 months commitment. Average 5 hrs/week. Must write up a process to ensure effective handover of the Flickr account to other volunteers.

Activity organiser

Think of 1-2 good activities for the students (badminton competition, fun/cultural event, French culture training…) and organise it, budget costs

Min 3 weeks to ensure proper organisation. Chinese appreciated.

English teacher

Prepare programme (for 1 class or for regular classes) and teach to students (weekdays or weekends). If possible, focus on bakery / demonstration vocab.

Class proposal must be submitted to Phenicia for review.

French teacher

Prepare programme (for 1 class or for regular classes) and teach to students (weekdays or weekends). Can be either complete beginner classes to all students, or support for the 2 currently learning French at Alliance Francaise

Registration counsellor

Research on requirements to get registered as a social entreprise, and prepare presentation (ppt or word) with conclusions

Min 2 months. Able to read Chinese.

Partnership Cluster co-leader

Meet up with potential partners (for all other Clusters), present SYB, brainstorm ways of cooperating, ensure regular follow-up.

Min 4 months. Good understanding of SYB programme. Able to meet up in person with partners. French appreciated.

Webmaster

Create website content update template, posting, upload; Server maintenance (FTP, Email, MySQL) and troubleshooting; Work closely with communication cluster

Experience in website design ; Knowledge in Network and Server Administration, IT/Web Development. Min 3 months. French appreciated.

HR Account Manager

Follow up with 1 or 2 Host Partner (hotel or bakery where students do internship) in students’ issues that may include: internship compensation, working schedule, student evaluation, assessment of improvement areas… Confirm the host partners’ interest and participation in SYB’s communication actions and meetings.

Min 3 months' commitment & good understanding of SYB programme. Be able to make phone calls during the day at short notice

Communication Director

Lead promotion of SYB to media, partners, general public through events, creation & update of communication material, general follow-up

Min 3 months' commitment & good understanding of SYB programme. Be able to make phone calls during the day
